William G. Hersman “Bill”
William G. Hersman (“Bill”) has over 30 years of experience in the legal field, to include representing the State of Florida as an Assistant State Attorney and employer/carriers in workers compensation matters. Bill began his legal career at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State Attorney handling both misdemeanor and felony cases. Thereafter, he joined the firm of Walton Lantaff Schroeder & Carson where he rose up the ranks to become a senior partner, representing clients such as Protegrity/Humana and other worker compensation insurance carriers. Over the course of his career, he has handled volume claims, has gained invaluable trial experience, and has lectured on worker’s compensation topics. With his vast knowledge of claims handling, and an aggressive yet conscientious approach, he joined Martinez Roman in 2018.
Bill was born in Havana, Cuba and has resided in Miami, Florida since 1961. He graduated from Florida International University with a B.A. in Political Science and attended the University of Miami School of Law where he graduated in 1988 with a Juris Doctor degree. He has been a member of the Florida Bar Association since 1988.
